Week 3 Recap & Power Rankings

Winning Strat: Be on the Dolphins

God damn that was a good fantasy game if you had Tua, Tyreek, Mostert, Achane, and even fucking Mike White got in on it.

The Gayest kicker in the league broke an NFL record and kicked 4 50+ yd field goals, but it wasn't for the Rams :(

Mike Williams died (again) leaving Keenan Allen to evolve into the only receiver worth throwing to in SD until he reaches retirement age.

Justin Fields, and the Bears for that matter, fuckin' suck. What an embarrassment.

Derek Carr died. Yay -- we get to watch Winston again. This season is full of Deja Vu.

Derrick Henry is done. He averaged <2YPC and had his lowest game since 2017. Props to Mike for trying to offload him to me for Tyreek in dynasty, but you can't sell shit to a shit salesman.

KC is freaking out about Kelce/Swift. I dunno why though, it's Hurts that gets to fondle his taint on a weekly basis. They aren't even from here.

Fun fact: Josh has not started 3-0 since 2008. He finished 9-4 in 4th place.

League Recap

Scott and I were set to have a decent matchup, but then he threw me off the top of the cage and watched me plummet 16' to crash through the announcers table just like Undertaker did to Mankind at Hell in a Cell in 1998.

He now holds the belt for single week scoring record, which IMHO is one of the most coveted records in the league.

I've updated that, and a few other records from last year over on the Hall of Records.

Overall this was a very high scoring week, myself and Brett being the exceptions. Keep it up boys.

Last Week's MoTW Winner: Scott, well covered -10 spread, my picks: 2-0

This Week's Matchup of the Week: Boyer (2-1) vs Scott (3-0)
Scott won't put up 228 every week, but he's well on his way to win most points this year. Boyer is definitely not far behind averaging 155pts/wk.

Kelce is powered by that Swift magic, so he's locked in for this year, and the rest of the matchup could go either way.

The sweat will be on Monday night with Kenny Walker left for Boyer. I see Scott in the lead, and Boyer needing 11+ from Walker to win. If he scores a TD it'll be over. I'll set the spread at -3 to Scott.

Team Notes:

Scott: Tough matchup with Boyer, but as long as TSwift is getting dicked down by Kelce you're gonna be hard to beat.

Josh: IDK what it is about your team that feels like fake news, but it does. Kamara is back so that's a thing.

Boyer: Swift and Kenny are your stallions. Herbert lost a weapon but I don't think it's over.

David: Hey I mean, you went up in the rankings still despite the loss. Just try winning one. It's a Jewish civil war this week against Josh. A battle of the chutzpah if you will.

Will: Okay so maybe I was a bit overconfident after losing Chubb. Karma noted. Waddle and Richardson should be back, and at least I'm playing a team named after a shitter.

Mike: If you get out of the non-bye weeks 3-1 that'll be the best thing for you, cause when you're forced to start Zack Charbonnet and Jalin Hyatt -- good luck buddy.

Jordan: Hey look, you aren't garbage. The on-paper good team performed above a Tier 5 level. Good for you.

Joe: 0-3 is rough. But hey, you've been there before. Just win out bro, EZ.

Brett: Should you be 1-2? Just start the right guys next week. EZ.

Chu: Well, you only have to hold out one more week till Taylor "returns". If that happens you could easily start crushing wins.
