Welp, we're thru week 2 and I've spent 79% of my FAAB. That bodes well. David's comeback on Monday with Aaron Jones somehow trouncing Derrick Henry's insane week 2 output was pretty impressive to watch. Poor Josh. Maybe my 5-9 prediction for David won't come true. Josh though, with the added week you can actually be .500 this year. "Mr 7-7" has a nice ring to it.
Brett, Boyer, and Scott seem to be the teams to beat right now. High scoring, good depth, and still undefeated. That list could be down to 1 by the time this post comes out next week.
Stat of the week: Scott has the highest average optimal lineup score. That's assuming he started exactly the highest scoring players from his bench every week. He's currently averaging 195.54 of optimal play through 2 weeks. Close second is Josh at 192.4.

Individual Notes
Brett: Tom Brady is real. It's scary how long his career has lasted and how efficient he's been. Solid receiving core in Diggs/McLaurin/Moore. Kamara is in a bit of a regression averaging 3.14 yards/carry so far. Gibson took a bit of a hit with Heinecke taking snaps. TJ Hock may end up as TE1 for the year. Boyer: Appreciate the name change on a weekly basis to troll whatever team you're facing. It's a nice touch. Taking Mahomes 2nd overall seemed somewhat risky, but it's been just fine. Najee and Javonte are still getting tremendous volume, so the production will soon follow. Lockett is still Russ's favorite target and will be forever. Scott: Jackson and Hurts might be the best QB combo in the league. That alone makes you a threat. Throw in the potential top 5 WR that Kupp's got brewing, and Hunt as primary receiving back, and if CEH can show the fuck up to games, and you've got a good run at the finals. Will: Still believe I've got the QB1 overall, and the best WR core in the league. RBs are a big question mark, and picking the right one to use will be a weekly challenge. Flex spot is a revolving door, along with the Defense. Chu: For some reason, the Seahawks do not know how to use DK Metcalf. Burrow had a good Week 1, and regressed a bit. Godwin will have boom/bust days depending on who Brady favors. CMC and Taylor giving great ROI. Depth on this team is rough, but as long as they stay healthy (which Chu's team is well known to do) he should be okay. David: Who cares about the rest of your team when you've got God's gift to Kickers -- Harrison Butker? Especially when he's on a team that's allowed him to kick TWO...count em...TWO FIELD GOALS this season. We're clearly all morons that we didn't see this GOD TIER PLAYER IN THE 12TH ROUND. He's only behind 17 Free Agent kickers as far as Field Goals Made are concerned. Josh: Derrick Henry. That's all you really need to know. Forget that he started Marquez Valdes-Scantling last week, it almost didn't matter. Waller continues to look like Carr's favorite target, and the Raiders are inexplicably hot right now. NUK and Evans will always benefit from their great QB play, and when Russ wants to cook he'll cook. Josh may be 7th in the rankings this week, but I have a feeling he'll creep up there soon. Mike: I'm just gonna say it. Barkley fuckin sucks. I saw a stat last week that said so far this season he's run more horizontal yards than any other player in the league. Now, not all of it is his fault. He's coming of a torn ACL, his O-Line sucks, and he's on the Giants. But it is your fault that you keep drafting him. Chubb is fantastic, so I consider him your real RB1. ARod ain't going anywhere anytime soon. But hey, at least you're out of the cellar. Joe: Man, on paper this team looks great. Josh Allen looks like he's getting his sea legs back this season. Adams/Jefferson/DeVonta Smith are a scary core, just they don't have the volume quite yet to be as scary as they could be. Mixon/Montgomery can absolutely be boom/bust. And you're praying Mixon doesn't get hurt. Carr is technically your QB1 atm. Your bench is...ugh. You're projected to be about even with David this week, so maybe you'll get off the schneid. Jordan: Welp, hello darkness my old friend eh? Jordan's back in his familiar place -- the cellar. I think your team is solid, outside of Matt Ryan. I love Bobby Trees, Dak will perform considering they can't rely on Zeke, and Cook and Carson are a fantastic pair. Love it when someone has to bench their namesake. You're technically projected to beat me this week, but we'll see if my Mattison handcuff pays off. GL homie.
Good luck boys. 12 more weeks to go.
