Power Rankings Through Week 1 - It Begins

Like I said -- we're back boys! I blew over 50% of my FAAB on a Shanahan 6th Round RB. 0RB draft really makes you do some wild things. Power rankings model will shake out a little more as the wins separate, so they're pretty close to the rankings at the moment. It is Week 1, so plenty of time for overreaction this season. Either way, I couldn't be happier to be back in the swing of things. Let's get into the nitty gritty.

Stat of the week: This isn't really a stat, but more of a prediction. We're likely to see a lot of the season long league records broken this year due to the added week. Look for the Hall of Records page to be finished soon.

Individual Notes

Boyer: ROS Rankings loves your team. Harris, Cooper, Mahomes, Lockett -- it makes sense.
Will: Potential #1 QB, arguably best wideouts in the league, trying to do work on RB. Shanny don't you fuck me.
Brett: Brady/Brown connection seems real. McLaurin/Gibson likely takes a hit from downgrade at QB. Kamara looking great. Rookie QBs could hit.
Scott: I'll be honest. On paper, I don't really like your team, but fwiw I think I said that Week 1 last year and you finished 2nd. Hurts/Sanders looks legit.
Josh: You're welcome for your team name. We're both on the Shanahan ride. May have gotten Hasty as a top starter for free today considering how Shanny runs the team week to week. NUK is legit, Russ gon' eat, Jacobs looked solid and Henry is gonna roll back. Winston? There has to be regression, right...right?
David: Welcome to the league. Normally it's against the law for a first time team to do well, so you'll have to finish at 5-9 and miss the playoffs -- sorry bud, thems the rules. #butkerSZN
Chu: The Chu team-name curse has been more consistent than the Madden curse. This year it strikes Jeudy. I think it all started with "Gotta Catch Jamaal" -- which coincidentally was the Louisville Chugger season. You'll bounce back. CMC is the truth.
Joe: Gotta give you some credit. You never gave up on Mixon and this may be the year it finally pays off. Allen may have some regression as shown last week in PIT, but that's not an easy defense. WRs look solid, Pitts is 50/50 for boom/bust, and I'm hoping on Wentz to be solid enough in another league. Am I rooting for Joe? This feels weird. Your mother is a hamster, and your father smells of elderberry -- Phew, much better.
Jordan: Anything less than last is an improvement for our fallen champ. Not off to a hot start here -- though that was hardly your fault. Dak is likely going to have to throw 50x/game, Cook and Carson should bounce back nicely, and Swift (to my surprise) is getting utilized correctly and is getting a chance to show his talent? What the fuck is happening in Detroit?
Mike: Well, Chubb, Allen, and Thielen looked good. I had Barkley on my Do Not Draft list. Not sure why you love him, but we'll see how that works out for you. Rodgers ain't gonna take John Mulaney (a bears fan) fucking his ex (Olivia Munn) and losing the Jeopardy job very well. He'll bounce back hardcore in Detroit.

Good luck boys. We got a long season ahead.
